GILK is Founded (HGC Design Build)
While playing in the NFL, Garrett Gilkey founded the company to empower others, create beautiful structures, and witness spectacular transformations. The early days of GILK were focused on building community relationships and taking on small jobs to keep our growing team busy.
Breakthrough: Historic Renovation
Our breakthrough came with a $500,000 restoration of a 1,400 sq ft bungalow in Hyde Park, establishing us in the competitive restoration market.
Expansion: Design-Build Services in Tampa
As our reputation for high-quality work grew, so did the demand for our services. We developed architectural and design teams to handle full-scale design-build projects.
